This Nutty Cacao Slice is a nutrient-dense, no-bake recipe perfect for healthy snacks for work, meal prep, or an after-dinner treat. Made with Juice Plus Cacao Rocks, Complete Dutch Chocolate, nuts, and seeds, it’s dairy-free, gluten-free, and naturally sweetened with dates.

Ingredients
+ 30 g Ceremonial Cacao Rocks
+ 1 scoop/sachet Juice Plus Complete Dutch Chocolate
+ 150g Dates – Pitted
+ 200 g nut butter - all natural – choice of nut
+ 150ml coconut oil
+ 350g mixed nuts (Almonds, Walnuts, Cashews, Brazil nuts are ideal)
+ 50g Sunflower seeds
+ 100 g Pepitas (pumpkin Seeds)
+ 150 g Hemp Seeds
+ 100 g Almonds (optional)
Directions
- Line tray with baking paper
- Add dates, nuts, seeds and Complete (Except 100g of almonds) into food processor and blitz to desired consistency ( Keep it a little chunky)
- Spread the mixture across the tray evenly
- Crush or chop the 100g almonds and set aside
- Combine Cacao and coconut oil over low heat in saucepan and stir consistently to combine.
- Stir nut butter into Cacao and Coconut mixture and stir to combine well
- Pour mixture over the assembled nuts seeds and dates on the tray
- Lace tray into fridge for 5 minutes
- Remove tray and sprinkle crushed almonds across the top of the mixture and replace in fridge to set for a further 5-10 minutes
- Remove tray and cut mixture into slices
- Place in airtight container and back into fridge or freezer.
NOTE: When removed from fridge/ freezer the coconut oil will cause melting. This is a great after dinner treat!
