Creamy Cacao Mousse

This decadent homemade mousse is ultra-creamy, naturally sweetened with Medjool dates, and made with Cacao Rocks and coconut cream for a rich chocolate flavour. Free from dairy and artificial sugars, it’s the perfect guilt-free dessert.

Ingredients    

+  1.5 Cups Ceremonial Cacao Rocks 

+ 6 Medjool Dates – Pitted

+ 200ml Coconut Cream

  

Directions  

  1. Remove seed from dates and place in a small bowl
  2. Cover dates with boiled/ filtered water and let sit for 5 mins to soften
  3. Melt cacao in a small bowl over a larger bowl with boiling water. Ensure no water splashes into the Cacao
  4. Remove Cacao from heat
  5. Drain dates and keep water
  6. Place melted cacao , dates and coconut cream into the blender
  7. Combine well – ensure dates are completely smooth and use a spatula to scrape the sides of the blender.
  8. Pour the mixture into 2 serving dishes / jars and refrigerate until set
  9. Serve with berries
